A Rembert teen was involved in a head-on collision that left a Sumter County man dead Wednesday afternoon. South Carolina Highway Patrol LCpl. Judd Jones said 17-year-old Victor Vaughan was traveling southbound on S.C. 441 six miles north of Sumter when his Dodge Durango crossed over the center line and collided with 63-year-old Gilbert Knepp’s 1974 Ford truck. Jones said the Durango caught on fire, which then spread to the Ford truck.
