Masonic Lodge No. 29 to present Kershaw portrait

The brethren of Kershaw Masonic Lodge No. 29 is extending an invitation to all brothers to join them Monday at 6:30 p.m. for a special presentation featuring the Grand Lodge of the Freemasons on South Carolina.

“The Grand Lodge will be delivering a history of Most Worshipful Gen. Joseph B. Kershaw, past Master of Kershaw Lodge Number 29 (1861, 1867 and 1970) and past Grand Master of South Carolina (1873),” Lodge officers said. “Kershaw Masonic Lodge will (then) be presenting the Grand Lodge with an oil painting of Most Worshipful Brother Joseph B. Kershaw to be placed within the Grand Lodge.”

Lodge 29 officers said any entered apprentice, fellowcraft or master mason may attend.

A meal will be served at 6:30 p.m.; work will begin at 7:15 p.m.
