State Sen. Thomas J. McElveen III, whose District 35 seat represents portions of Kershaw County as well as Lee, Richland and Sumter counties, received the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) Cancer Action Network (CAN) Legislative Champion award during the ACS CAN 2022 Ann “Tunky” Riley Pink Tea in October.
