Voting will change lives, said Dr. Lonnie Randolph Jr., president of South Carolina State Conference of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Randolph emphasized the importance of voting before he introduced guest speaker Hilary O. Shelton at the Camden-Kershaw County Branch of the NAACP’s 26th annual Freedom Fund Banquet, held Saturday at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Camden.
