Operation Hope
Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus recently presented the proceeds of this year’s Operation Hope Tootsie Roll Drive to The Kershaw Center Disabilities Foundation (KCDF). Each year, the Knights hold Operation Hope, a fund drive during which members go into the community to collect donations. The Knights give Tootsie Rolls to anyone who makes a donation of any amount. This year, the Knights collected $3,625, which they presented to the KCDF to benefit citizens of Kershaw County living with physical and/or mental disabilities. Shown from left are Jim Pontius, Knights Operation Hope co-chair; Zenobia Corley, director of the Kershaw Center; and Pete Furlong, Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus. Not pictured is Knights Operation Hope Co-Chair Fred Florian.
