Partin honored for GAL service
Guardian ad Litem award
Because David Partin was out of the country on the day of the S.C. Association for Volunteer Administration awards ceremony, his father, Pat Partin (center), accepted the Direct Service Volunteer Award on his behalf, presented by Gov. Nikki Haley (left). Elizabeth May (right), coordinator of the Kershaw County Volunteer Guardian ad Litem program, joined Partin at the presentation.
David A. Partin of Camden has been selected as the 2012 Direct Service Volunteer award winner by the S.C. Association for Volunteer Administration (SCAVA). He has been a volunteer Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in Kershaw County since June 2007. During that time, he has served 30 children on 18 cases.
