Camden Mayor Jeffrey Graham, City Manager Kevin Bronson, City Economic Development Director Wade Luther and Sheriff Jim Matthews have all agreed to be “celebrity” dunking booth “victims” for the second annual City Slickers Car Show & Fund Raiser for Relay for Life Saturday.
Bronson will be in the dunking booth at 11:30 a.m., followed by Luther at noon, Matthews at 12:30 p.m. and Graham at 1 p.m.
The event, which will also feature classic and pro-mod cars, trucks and motorcycles., will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of Tractor Supply Co., 1635 Springdale Drive in Camden. Registration for the car show will be open from 8 to 10:30 a.m., with “people’s choice” awards handed out at 2 p.m.
There will also be a Boy Scouts of America pinewood derby, popcorn, boiled peanuts and other goodies. All proceeds to benefit Relay for Life of Kershaw County.
