A single vehicle accident early Thursday morning left one man dead and sent two others to the hospital. Milton Phillip Sheorn, 53, of Purple Laurel Lane, Kershaw died of blunt force trauma; he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Kershaw County Coroner David West. According to West, Sheorn, who was driving the vehicle, and two passengers were traveling on Flat Rock Road headed toward Camden at about 1 a.m. Thursday.
