A Kershaw County man has been recognized as one of two Hunter Educators of the Year by the International Hunter Education Association (IHEA), a nationwide organization that promotes hunter education and safety. Jack Truesdale’s recognition was announced in the Summer 2014 issue of the IHEA-Journal. Truesdale is assistant fire chief for the Lugoff Fire-Rescue Department and teaches hunter education for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
