Virginia quake felt here

Small rumblings were felt Tuesday afternoon in parts of Kershaw County after a 5.9 magnitude earthquake occurred near Louisa, Va. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake hit at about 1:50 p.m. in Virginia and was 3.7 miles deep. Derrec Becker, public information officer at the S.C. Emergency Management Division, said the earthquake was felt throughout South Carolina.
