Following the New England Patriots' Super Bowl win Sunday, TV host Jimmy Fallon released a star-studded a cappella rendition of Queens We Are The Champions.

The video begins with Fallon and his house band, The Roots, but later features Carrie Underwood, Ariana Grande, One Direction, Sam Smith, Christina Aguilera, Usher, Blake Shelton and Meghan Trainor.

We Are The Champions was originally released in 1977 and has been a sports staple ever since. In fact, Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury said he was thinking about football when he wrote the song.

I wanted a participation song, Mercury said. Something that the fans could latch on to. Of course, Ive given it more theatrical subtlety than an ordinary football chant.

Fallon and friends tapped into that theatrical subtlety Sunday night, and the video has been viewed over 300,000 times in less than 24 hours.
