AG candidate Richardson campaigns in Camden

Matthew Richardson, the Democratic candidate for state attorney general, was campaigning last week in Camden and dropped by the Chronicle-Independent office to answer a few questions about himself and his campaign. Richardson, who grew up in Barnwell and lives and practices law in Columbia, is squaring off against Republican Alan Wilson, whom Richardson said is a lifetime politician with long political ties. Richardson said he wouldn’t take a paycheck from the state until the economy turns back around, which he defined as having several consecutive months of lowering unemployment.
