Several candidates in Kershaw County may be left off the June 12 primary ballot after failing to file their candidacy and economic interest statements on time. The S.C. Supreme Court recently ruled that about 180 candidates across the state are ineligible for the primary election. S.C. Sen. Vincent Sheheen said Monday that the state Senate’s Judiciary Committee would be considering “legislative fixes” to try to find a solution to the problem.
