Kershaw County Voter Registration Director John Caughman reported moderate voter turnout for Tuesday’s general election, as of early afternoon. Caughman said 2,983 absentee ballots had been cast by 5 p.m. Monday, but a few more were expected to arrive by mail or hand delivered Tuesday. “You can still return them by mail or in person until 7 o’clock today,” Caughman said early Tuesday afternoon.
