Norman wins 5th District

Republican candidate Ralph Norman has won the 5th Congressional District Special Election. Norman ultimately overcame a field of eight fellow Republican candidates to win the Republican nomination, then won the special election held June 20. Norman fills the unexpired term of former Rep. Mick Mulvaney, who stepped down in January to become President Trump’s director of the Office of Management and Budget.
