State Sen. Vincent Sheheen, D-Kershaw, has been named co-chairman of the Senate Finance K-12 Education Subcommittee. Senator Hugh Leatherman, R-Florence, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, appointed Senator Sheheen as co-chairman of the subcommittee. “Senator Sheheen is an experienced lawmaker and I appreciate his willingness to serve and bring his knowledge to this committee,” Leatherman said.
