Sheheen speaks to Dems at convention breakfast
Sheheen at DNC
Sheheen speaks to delegates at the Democratic National Convention.
Before Democratic Party delegates from across the country are scheduled to renominate President Barack Obama as the party’s candidate Thursday in Charlotte, N.C., one of those delegates spoke to his fellow Democrats about political life here in South Carolina. It’s a subject the speaker knows well, considering he’s served in the state legislature for 12 years and ran for governor in 2010. State Sen. Vincent Sheheen, of Camden, spoke to a group of about 100 Democrats during one of the Democratic National Convention’s breakfasts Tuesday at a Charlotte hotel.
