Funeral services to celebrate the life of Julius Abram Holland, 29, of Lugoff will be held Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 4:00 PM in Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Sheila Rogers will officiate.  The family will receive friends Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Kornegay Funeral Home Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made to Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church, 1206 Lyttleton Street, Camden, SC 29020.

Abram passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010. Born in Camden, he was the son of Carl Alexander “Al” Holland and Marilyn Hough Holland.  Abram received his associate degree from Midlands Technical College and was a junior at the University of South Carolina. He was a US Navy Veteran having served on the nuclear submarine the USS Louisiana and a member of Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his mother and father of Lugoff; son, Cameron Taylor Holland of Lugoff; sister Dr. Mara Virginia Parker Holland of Lugoff; brother, Shandon Keith Benton of Orlando, FL and Carl A. “Xan” Holland, III of Camden; paternal grandfather, Carl A. Holland of Simpsonville; several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, Jessie Parker Holland, Mary Truesdell, and Julius Arthur Hough.
