A funeral service to celebrate the life of Allen Maurice Cunningham, 64, of Camden, was held May 29, 2018 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Rev. Jack Cobb officiated. Allen died Friday, May 25, 2018. He was born in Camden, the son of the late James Otis Cunningham and Grace Isobel Cunningham. Allen served in the US Navy, and was a lifelong welder and pool player. When he wasn’t working away from home, you could find him working in the backyard on various project. There was nothing Allen couldn’t build or fix.
Allen is survived by his wife of 35 years, Tammy Cobb Cunningham; daughter, Grace Cunningham Messer (Phillip) of Camden; sons, Bobby Cunningham (Cristina) of Lugoff, Caul Cunningham (Fiancé, Lauren) of Camden and Clay Hasty, Jr. (Rachel) of Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren, Liam, Merit and Noah; sisters, Dorothy, Nadine, Patty, Jean and Betty; and his brothers, James, Wayne, Mackey, Ralph, Stanley and Phil.
Allen was predeceased by his bothers, Willard and Jackie Cunningham.
