Graveside services to celebrate the life of Anne Brett Segars, age 74, of Camden, was held Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Washington Memorial Gardens, Sandersville, GA. The family received friends Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Dr. Frank Hutcheson officiated. Born in Sandersville, GA she was the widow of Albert H. ”Al” Segars, Jr. and the daughter of the late Otis and Martha Eloise Lord Brett. She was a member of Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church and former member of the Sunnyhill Garden Club and the Camden Highsteppers.
Surviving are her 3 sons, Albert Harrison Segars, III (Barbara) of Chapel Hill, NC, Jeff Warren Segars (Sandra) of Greenville, SC and William Paul Segars (Christi) of Apex, NC.; 5 grandchildren, Kristen Leigh Segars, Joseph Keith Segars, Jeffrey Reed Segars, Hannah Elizabeth Segars and Matthew Scott Segars; 3 brothers, Randy Brett of Tennile, GA, Otis Brett. Jr. of Sandersville, GA, and Dan Brett of Gainesville, GA.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Elizabeth Anne Segars.
