Augustus Bradhurst Field III, 85, of Camden, South Carolina, peacefully passed away on January 29, 2019. Son of Augustus B. Field Jr. and Harriet McKim, he was born on January 2nd, 1934, and grew up in Tuxedo Park, New York, where he attended Tuxedo Park School. He then attended the Brooks School in North Andover Massachusetts, and prior to graduating from Harvard University in 1955, he served as a Corporal in the US Army Security Agency in its Signals Intelligence branch. He later returned to Tuxedo Park to lead an active family life, while working in New York City as an investment banker with Brown Brothers Harriman. Upon retirement he moved to Naples, Florida to care for his father, and then settled in Camden, South Carolina, with his wife, Susan, where he enjoyed gardening, his springer spaniels, and precious time with family and friends. He is predeceased by his sister Pamela F. Kaplan, and survived by his wife, Susan R. Field; son, Augustus B. Field IV; daughter-in-law, Lisa S. Field; and granddaughters, Carly Alison and Madyn Elizabeth Field.
