A service to celebrate the life of Barry Keith Tolbert, 65, was held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Fostering Fosters Animal Rescue or Pawmetto Life Line.

Mr. Tolbert passed away at home on Saturday, December 29, 2018. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Henry Hazel and Doris Louise Morgan Tolbert. He retired from DuPont and Invista after 47 years of service. He enjoyed antique cars and going to car shows.

Mr. Tolbert was an avid Houston Astro and Tennessee Titans fan, and coached recreation ball when his children were young. He also enjoyed traveling but what he cherished most was the time he spent with his granddaughter, Ellie. He was a member of Lugoff First Baptist Church, but most recently attended Friendship Baptist Church with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Murray Tolbert; son, Brian John Tolbert (Ashley) of Camden; daughter, Brittany Foster (Will) of Huntersville, N.C.; sisters, Linda Buseck (Charles) and Dale Cooper (Rick); granddaughter, Ellie Tolbert; and was expecting 2 more grandchildren in 2019. He was predeceased by a brother, Henry Tolbert.
