Beatrice D. Boisvert LaPlante, 98, of Camden, passed away peacefully on Friday morning surrounded by her family.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at noon at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Camden. The Rev. John Zimmerman will preside.

Wife of the late Roland W. LaPlante, she was born in Lynn, MA. and was the daughter of Leonie Favreau Boisvert and Napoleon Boisvert.

She leaves two daughters, Annette (LaPlante)Sullivan of Camden and Patricia LaPlante of Manchester, N.H., three granddaughters including Susan (Sullivan) Didato of Camden and her Husband Tom Didato, three grandsons, five great grandchildren, four great great -grandchildren, and a devoted friend, Edison Wentworth of Peabody, MA. She was predeceased by her sisters, Liane (Lil) Fleury and Marie Blanche Boisvert, two brothers, Armand Boisvert and Emile Boisvert, and a great-granddaughter.  She was also a foster mother for 10 years for The Catholic Diocese of Boston.

The family would like to thank the staff at Pinedale Residential Center in Camden and Tri-County Hospice for their loving care of Beatrice.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thiel-Meyer Animal Adoption Center in Camden, 128 Black River Rd, Camden, SC 29020 and the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 810, Memphis, Tenn. 38101.
