A funeral service to celebrate the life of Benjamin "Mac" Franklin McFatridge, 89, of Lugoff, SC, will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, February 10, 2014 at Rowan Presbyterian Church in Lugoff. Rev. Stephen Jordan will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Camden. The family will receive friends from 5:00 -7:00 PM, Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Memorials may be made in his memory to Rowan Presbyterian Church, 818 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, SC 29078 or the charity of one’s choice.

Benjamin "Mac" Franklin McFatridge, widower of Alma Ward McFatridge, died February 7, 2014. He was born in Eufaula, OK, the son of the late Effie Powell and Henry Raymond McFatridge, He was a member of Rowan Presbyterian Church and was retired after serving in the US Army and US Air Force for a total of 20 years. He was also a POW in Germany during WWII.

Mr. McFatridge is survived by his sister-in-law, Virginia McCaa, and brother, Charles McFatridge of Trinity, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
