A funeral service for Betty Hinson Bell, 82, of Kershaw, SC, was held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 2015, in the sanctuary of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Tony Pope officiated.
Mrs. Bell, widow of James Emerson Bell died Thursday, January 22, 2015, at her home. Born in the White Bluff community of Kershaw, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Julia Robinson Hinson. She retired from Dupont Co. and was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. She loved her family, her church family and enjoyed watching television.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan Bell Hawksworth and Patti Bell Coates (Phil Williams) all of Camden, SC; four grandchildren, Paige Elizabeth Coates, John Gregory Coates, David Hawksworth and Dale Hawksworth; five great grandchildren, Justin and his wife Kayla, Alicia, Erin, Luke and Jake. Also surviving are her granddaughter-in-law, Bobbie Faulkenberry. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Faulkenberry.

The family received friends Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at her home, 214 West Welsh St., Kershaw.
