Funeral service for Carlton McQueen Bair Jr., 73, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The Rev. Steve Leigh and the Rev. Todd Horton will officiate.  The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.

    Mr. Bair passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014.  Born in Orangeburg, he was the son of the late Carlton M. Bair Sr. and Edna Levy Argoe Bair.  He was a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina with a degree in Pharmacology.  He was the President of Value Pak where he was a pharmacist.  Helping others through his works was his passion in life.

    Mr. Bair was a member of the Camden-Lugoff Elks Lodge.  He enjoyed reading and sports and was an avid Clemson fan.

    Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Patricia Parnell Bair; daughters, Deborah Bair Rennhack (Andrew T.) of Chapin, Elizabeth Bair Robertson (Joey) of Cassatt and Carla B. Dowey (Tim) of Lugoff; son, Carlton E. Bair of Camden; brothers, Alton Bair (Linda) and Larry Bair (Shirley); and grandchildren, Rebecca Elizabeth Robertson, Johanna Lynn Rennhack, Brianna Shere Bair, Jessica Darlene Rennhack, Carli Marie Dowey, Gracie Alexandria Rennhack.
