A graveside service to celebrate the life of Jean Claude Boudreau, 84, of Cassatt will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Family Cemetery, Holly Hills Farm, Cassatt, SC.

Memorials may be made in Mr. Boudreau’s memory to the MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Center, University of Texas, Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX.

Jean Claude Boudreau died at Kershaw Health in Camden, SC after a brief illness. He was born in Bristol, Connecticut, son of the late Albert and Oziene LeMire Boudreau. He served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1955. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and was employed by Olin Chemicals in Brandenburg, Kentucky. He joined DuPont at Chambers Works Plant and eventually retired from May Plant in Camden as a Senior Research Engineer. He was awarded multiple patents during his career. He was completely devoted to his family and enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time at the family beach home.

Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Winifred Lee Willis Boudreau; daughter, Renee Sanders of Allendale (Neil) ; granddaughters, Kathryn and Sarah Sanders; step-daughter, Lynn Rispone of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; step-grandchildren, Christopher Reid (Kim), Jennifer Rispone, Kyle Miller (Rachel), Casey Miller and Kevin Miller; step great-grandchildren Connor and Emily Reid.

He was predeceased by his brothers, John and Roland Boudreau and step-son, Edward Miller.
