A memorial service to celebrate the life of Don Paige Pullum, 79, of Camden, SC, was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015 at Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Rev. John Hallman will officiated. The family received friends following the service in John Knox Hall. Memorials may be made in Don’s memory to Bethesda Presbyterian Church, 502 DeKalb Street, Camden, SC 29020.
Don Paige Pullum, husband of Ruth Anne Haywood Pullum, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2015. He was born in Old Hickory, TN, the son of the late B. L. Pullum and Louise Davis Pullum. Don retired after 35 years as a Technical Group Manager at DuPont. He was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church, former president of Men of the Church and a Sunday school teacher. Don was a former board member of the Camden Country Club, where he won many tournaments. He was a member of the DuPont May Plant championship golf and bowling teams and president of the Camden Sertoma Club.
Besides his wife of 52 years, Don is survived by his daughter, Cindy Goodrich (Mike); grandchildren, Katelyn Pullum, Davis, Ben and Megan Goodrich; his sister, Cathy Pullum Amyette (Ray) of Camden; sister-in-law, Penny Pullum of Camden; and his nephew, Bob Pullum of San Francisco, CA.
Don was predeceased by his son, Michael and his brother, Bobby Pullum.
