A funeral service to honor the life of Donald E. Sellers, 74, of Lugoff, SC, will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, July 7, 2017 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Don Jarvis and Brent Bishop will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park with military and masonic rites. The family will receive friends at 11:00 AM, 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial may be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation, 1502 NW 9th Avenue, Bob Hope Road, Miami, FL 33136 or American Cancer Society, Relay for Life of Kershaw County, 647 Lachicotte Road, Lugoff, SC 29078.

Donald, husband of Jean Cliatt Sellers, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017. He was born in Conway, SC, the son of the late Henry Harmon Sellers and Lucille Neely Sellers. Donald was a retired civil serviceman and a US Navy Vietnam veteran. He was member of Harvest Baptist Church, the Camden Church of Christ. Donald was a member of Dentsville Masonic Lodge #398 and American Legion Post 17.

Donald is survived by his wife, daughter, Kelley Gillespie (Trent) of Columbia; son, Gene Sellers (Christine) of Camden; 9 grandchildren; brother, Henry Harmon Sellers, Jr., of Lexington; and sister, Carolyn Newton of Columbia.

Donald was predeceased by his sister, Evelyn Richardson.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
