A funeral service to celebrate the life of Thomas Earl Parrish, 83, of Camden, will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 19, 2013 at Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church in Camden. Rev. Steve Patterson and Rev. David Weaver will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM, one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship center. Memorials may be made in Earl’s memory to Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church, 1206 Lyttleton Street, Camden, SC 29020.

Thomas Earl Parrish, 83, of Lugoff, SC, husband of Joyce Mize Parrish, was born in Greensboro, NC, the son of the late Clint Parrish and Dora Parrish. He was a US Navy Korean War Veteran and was retired from DuPont May Plant after 34 years. Earl was a member of Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church and was a member of the Friendship Sunday school class. He was a former League Bowler.

Besides his wife, Earl is survived by his son Thomas E. Parrish, Jr. (Janice) of Mt. Airy, NC; son-in-law, Tony Lunn of Lugoff; grandchildren, Sandra Lunn , Sally Lunn, Mariah P. Head; Luke Parrish (Jessica) and Hannah P. Dickerson (Chastin); great-grandchildren, Anwyn , Kaeden, and Jamison Head; and sisters, Delmos Fuller, Jerry McBryde, Evelyn Miller and Peggy McBryde; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Earl was predeceased by his daughter, Debbie Lunn and brother, James Parrish.
