Edward Louis Ingram, 79, of Reidsville, GA., passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA. surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Ingram was a native of Atlanta, GA., after high school he went to Florida to attend Forestry School. He moved to Reidsville in 1952 to help start the Forestry Office. He was a Veteran of Korean Conflict. He was a member of Reidsville United Methodist Church, the Lillian Eason Sunday School Class and also was on the Administration Board Member of the Church. He was a member of the Lions Club, American Legion Life member and a member of the Civil Air Patrol in Camden, SC.

He was preceded in death by his son, James Robert (Bobby) Ingram, step-son, Dr. John Charles O’Neill, III and sister, Beverly H. Ingram and a brother, Julian Ingram.

Mr. Ingram is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mrs. Edna Lois Wood Ingram ofReidsville. One daughter, Beverly Kaye Dinnel (Scott) of Loranger, LA.; One son, Christopher Julian Ingram (Mary) of Columbia, SC.; Grandchildren, Stephanie K. Catoe (Joseph), John Charles O’Neill, Cathryn Budd, Kinsey Ian Dinnel, Claire Brooke Dinnel, Joshua Ryan Ingram, Melissa Kaye Ingram, Erica Marie Sexton. Great-grandchildren, Austin Griggs and Sierrah Catoe.

Memorial Services were held at 1:30pm on Monday, June 6, 2011 at Reidsville United Methodist Church.
