Funeral services celebrating the life of Edwilla Hough Brown Ham will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Wateree Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Reverend Bobby James will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM at the church fellowship hall. The family suggests memorials may be made in Mrs. Ham’s memory to Wateree Baptist Church, 2024 Haile Street, Camden, SC 29020.

Born to the late W. C. and Molly Hough on August 21, 1920, Mrs. Ham was the last surviving member of her family. She retired from Kershaw County Medical Center as Chief Switchboard operator. She was a member of Wateree Baptist Church which she loved, as well as her church family. Mrs. Ham was first married to the late Maxie C. Brown of Camden, then later to the late Allison Ham of Camden.

Surviving are 3 stepchildren, Carson A. Ham and his wife, Lynda, of Camden, Darlene H. Woody of Camden and Steve Ham and his wife, Ann, of Columbia; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; special nieces and nephews and her devoted nephew, George K. Floyd.
