A funeral service for Eleanor Warren Jacobs, 92, of Camden, will be held Saturday, March 26 at 11 a.m. at Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Sheila Rogers and Rev. David Weaver will officiate. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Jacobs' memory to the Wimberly Loyal Workers Sunday School Class at the church or Lyttleton Street Methodist Church Daycare Program, 1206 Lyttleton Street, Camden, SC 29020.
Mrs. Jacobs, widow of William Clinton Jacobs, Jr., whom she married in 1941, died Wednesday, March 16. She was born in Paris, TN and was the daughter of the late Weldon W. Warren and Olive Ward Warren. She was a graduate of the University of Tennessee in the class of 1939 and was a member of Chi Omega Sorority Pi Chapter. She taught Home Economics in Arkadelphia, TN and taught kindergarten at Lyttleton Street Methodist Church. She was a member of Lyttleton Street Methodist Church.
Surviving is a daughter-in-law, Karen Jacobs of Camden; grandsons, Collin Wayne Jacobs of Cary, NC and Tyler Warren Jacobs and his wife Heidi of Greenville, SC; niece, Betty Wilson and her husband Bill of Memphis, TN. She was predeceased by sons William Ward Jacobs and Judge Rolly Warren Jacobs.
