Elizabeth “Beth” Cummins Taylor Nettles died Sunday, January 17, 2016, after a courageous battle with breast cancer, her faith never waivering.

A daughter of Everett Gadsden and Dorothy Cromer Taylor, she was born in Columbia, SC, on September 1, 1953. She graduated from Eau Claire High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in physics from Florida Institute of Technology in Melborne, Florida.

Beth retired from Blue Cross Blue shield after 32 years of service. She enjoyed gardening and was a talented and imaginative artist. She loved the beach and spending time at Kiawah Island.

She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Nettles of Camden, SC; her sister, Becky McCormack (John) of Lexington, SC; sisters in law, Mary Page (Clarence) and Hamilton Whitener. Also, niece and nephews; Peyton Nunez, Ashley Page, John Page, Edward Page, Taylor McCormack and Stephen McCormack. Numerous cousins and wonderful friends Mary Jane Michaels of Spartanburg, Gina Barchesi, Peggy O’Neil, Teresa Williams, and Merry Bradley.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon today, January 19, 2016, at Quaker Cemetery in Camden, SC.

Memorials may be made to Bethesda Presbyterian Church, Camden, SC.
