A funeral service for Fay Keller Nowlen Elliott, age 94 of Camden, will be held at 11:00 AM Mon. June 27, 2011, at First Baptist Church, Camden, SC. The Reverend Bruce Hancock will officiate. Kornegay Funeral Home Camden Chapel is in charge of arrangements. The family received friends at Kornegay Funeral Home Camden Chapel between the hours of 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM on Sunday June 26, 2011. 

A graveside service will be held with burial at the Greenville City Cemetery in Greenville, GA at 11:00 AM on Thursday June 30, 2011. The family will receive friends at Smith, Steel & Meadows Funeral Home, Manchester, GA from 5:00PM-6:30 PM on Wednesday June 29, 2011.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 1201 Broad Street Camden, SC 29020, or to Greenville Baptist Church, P.O Box 458, Greenville, GA, 30222, or to a charity of one’s choice.

Mrs. Elliott, widow of Edward Charles “EC” Elliott, passed away on June 24, 2011. Born in Greenville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Faulkner and Maude Fowler Keller.  Mrs. Elliott was a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she was a member of Tri Delta Sorority, and was a retired elementary school secretary and teacher. She was a member of First Baptist Church and active in Sunday School, WMU, the Silvertone Choir, and other church activities. Mrs. Elliott served for many years as a volunteer at the Kershaw County Medical Center.

Survivors are Nancy N. Sapp (Robert) of Flowery Branch, GA; Bonnie N. Worton (David) of Braselton, GA;  Billy Nowlen (Carolyn) of Camden, SC and Paul Nowlen Jr. of Dallas, TX; Thomas Elliott (Mary Ann) of Elgin, SC, and John Elliott (Tessie) of Round Rock, TX, along with many grand and great-grand children.
