Funeral services for Fleeter Mae Kelley Jackson, 74, will be held today at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Donnie Barrett will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 a.m.
Mrs. Jackson passed away Saturday, June 03, 2017. Born in Bonetown, she was a daughter of the late George “Cap” and Zetta Sheorn Kelley. Mrs. Jackson attended Refugee Baptist Church. She enjoyed taking care of animals, doing yardwork, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Wanda Baker of Camden, Wendy Mae Baker (Danny Joe Boone) of Cassatt, Joseph R. “Little Joe” Bowers, Jr. (Tammy) of Camden, Rhonda Mae Branham (Russell Outlaw) of Camden, Robert Bryce “R.B.” Baker of Cassatt; brothers, James “J.B.” Kelley of Kershaw, Carroll Kelley (Mildred) of Camden; grandchildren, Rachael Baker, Kayla Baker, Kelley Parnell, Joseph R. Bowers, III (Sy), Tyler Bowers, Alexie Evans, Ethan Skipper, Blaze Outlaw; and great-grandchildren, Jaden Veasey, Ali Veasey, and Joshua Lejuene. She was predeceased by a son, George Baker; a sister, Helen Kelley; and brothers, Larry Lee, William, Purvis, Willard, John and Ed Kelley.
