A funeral service to celebrate the life of Floyd Edward Branham, 77, of Camden, SC, will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Gene Stokes will officiate. The family will receive friends today, July 12, 2016 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Floyd, husband of Paulette Thompson Branham, died Sunday, July 10, 2016. He was born in Lugoff, SC, the son of the late Harold Edward Branham and Minnie Watts Branham. Floyd was retired from Praxair and then worked for Wolfe Mechanical Company He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where he served as deacon for many years.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Paulette; sons, Paul Edward Branham (Alishia) of Camden; daughter, Laura Lynn Branham Bedenbaugh (Joel) of Cassatt, SC; 8 grandchildren; Steven Paul Branham, Nathan Perry Branham, Edward Reed Branham, Mary Frances Branham, Alyssa Jordan Carter, Hayley Noelle Carter, Kennedy Morgan Carter and Madyson Taylor Carter; 1 great- granddaughter, Braelyn Olivia Privette; a sister Mildred Hornsby (Joe) of Lugoff, SC; brothers, Ronnie Branham (Mary Ann) and Tally Branham, all of Lugoff, SC.
Floyd was predeceased by his sister, Laura Truesdale.
