A funeral service celebrating the life of Frances Burns Williams, 92, of Camden, will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Hermitage Baptist Church. Rev. Jason Fletcher, Rev. Mark Hopkins and Rev. Jed Bryant will officiate. Family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30PM, Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Frances’ memory to the Arise and Build Fund at Hermitage Baptist Church, 814 Jefferson Davis Highway, Camden, SC 29020.

Frances was born in Eufaula, Alabama to the late Harry Owens Burns and Carrie Guinn Burns. She was a member of Hermitage Baptist Church. Frances loved flower gardening and spending time with her family and was dedicated to her church.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Delores Raynor (Jack) of Warner Robins, GA; son Ronald Williams, Sr. (Jeanelle) of Camden; grandchildren, Ron Williams (Angie), Roman Williams (Sandra), Robin Bright (Chris), Meredith O’Keefe (Kevin), Teresa Hurt (Mark), Renee Cheely (Ross), and Fran Boswell (Dwayne); 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Patrick G. Burns, Sr. (Betty) of Camden and H. O. Burns, Jr., of Charlotte, NC.

Frances was predeceased by her husband, Wilbert R. Williams; brothers, Mickey, Johnny, Norman and Eddie Burns; sisters, Ruby Riley and Sallie Deese.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
