Memorial services to celebrate the life of Frances F. Rhame, 87, of Camden were held Sunday May 1, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Memorials may be in Miss Rhame’s memory to Bethesda Presbyterian Church, 502 DeKalb Street, Camden, SC 29020.
Miss Rhame, died Thursday, April 28, 2011. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late John Edward Rhame and Bessie Gerald Rhame. Miss Rhame was a graduate of Camden High School where she was Valedictorian and a graduate of Columbia College where she was Salutatorian. She was a retired Family Court secretary. Miss Rhame loved the Clemson Tigers second only to the Camden Bulldogs. She was a member of the Camden Bulldog Club and loved Friday night games. Miss Rhame acted with the Camden Players. She was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her niece, Catherine Rhame Noblitt of Asheville, NC, and great nieces and nephews, John Price and his wife, Cindy, Robert Price and his wife Kathy, Caroline Atkinson and her husband Colin, Suzanne Buesing and her husband Leslie and nine great great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward Clarkson Rhame; sister-in-law, Mary Goodale Rhame and niece, Geraldine Rhame McEwan.
