Graveside services to honor the life of Harold Ernest Trapp, 93, of Camden, SC will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Rev. Bruce Hancock will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM, Friday, January 9, 2015 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made in Mr. Trapp’s memory to Alzheimer’s Disease & Related Disorder Association-Mid State-SC, 140 Stoneridge Drive, Ste. 210, Columbia, SC 29210 or Meals on Wheels, c/o KC Council on Aging, 906 Lyttleton Street, Camden, SC 29020.

Harold Ernest Trapp, widower of Mozelle Childress Trapp, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015. He was born in Camden, SC, the son of the late William Edward Shiver Trapp and Nelia Holland Trapp. Mr. Trapp was retired from DuPont and was a US Army Air Corps WWII veteran, having served in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Camden and was an avid fisherman and farmer. Mr. Trapp was a member of Kershaw Lodge #29.

Mr. Trapp is survived by his son, Rodney E. Trapp (Shaun) of Camden and his daughter, Zondra T. Stephens (Allen) of Westville; grandchildren, Andrea Brownfield (John), Erica Trapp, William Trapp, Amanda Wadehra (Niel) and Brandy Shaffer; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife and parents, Mr. Trapp was predeceased by his sister, Lillie Mae Corbett and brothers, Willie Trapp, Arnold Trapp, Ellis Trapp, Ralph Trapp and Darleen Trapp.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
