A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ila Mae Thomas Richbourg, 95, of Camden, SC, will be held at 11:00 today, July 25, 2017 at Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Rev. John Hallman will officiate. Burial will follow in Quaker Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30, Monday, July 24, 2017 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, and other times at the home of Charles and Nancy, 111 Sandy Springs Drive in Camden. Memorials may be made to Bethesda Presbyterian Church, 502 DeKalb Street, Camden, SC 29020. 

Ila Mae, widow of Frank M. Richbourg, died Friday, July 21, 2017. She was born in Waveland, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Charley and Bertha Milton Thomas. Ila Mae was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church and a longtime choir member. She loved sharing her pies and pickles with everyone.

Ila Mae is survived by her son, Charles Richbourg (Nancy) of Camden; daughter, Anne R. Brown (Ken) of Opelika, Alabama; grandchildren, Brandon Richbourg (Rebecca), Kenny Brown (Claire) and Jenny Carol Young (Scott); 4 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Orlan Thomas.

Ila Mae was predeceased by her sisters, Betty Ashlin and Mettavee Harkey.

A special thanks to her caregivers at Karesh Wing for their love and care.
