A funeral service to honor the life of Jeff Davis Haselden, 92, of Lugoff, SC will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, conducted by Emerson Brown and David Arnold. Burial will follow in the Quaker Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until the service time at the Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, 647 Lachicotte Road, Lugoff, SC 29078. 

Mr. Haselden widower of Mabel Ream Haselden his wife of 54 years died Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Born in Socastee, SC he was the son of the late Herbert Davis Haselden and Vallie Perry Haselden. 

He was a US Navy WWII Veteran, a member of the VFW and member and past commander of the James LeRoy Belk Post #17 of the American Legion. He was retired from E.I. DuPont after 33 years of service and was a member of the McRae Road Church of Christ. 

Surviving are his children, Jeff Davis Haselden, Jr. (Marty) of Nashville, TN, Carol Badacour (George) of Nashville, TN, Henry W. Haselden, Sr. of Bishopville, Teresa Thompson (Billy) of Camden and Robin Haselden, Sr. (Janet) of Lugoff, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Besides his wife and parents, Mr. Haselden was predeceased by a son, Edward Herbert Haselden, daughter-in-law, Kathleen R. Haselden, a brother Norman Lester Haselden and a sister, Marion Earl Sansbury, and grandson-in law, Chris Bowers.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
