Judy Elizabeth Holland O’Rear age 70 of Athens, Georgia passed away on March 1, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born on November 23, 1945 in Camden, SC. She was a selfless person who always put the needs of others before herself. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels for many years. She loved her dogs and always had at least one as a constant companion. She especially enjoyed being “Mimi” to her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Robert L. O’Rear, her father, John Richard “Dick” Holland and many canine companions. She is survived by her mother, Fannie Holland, sister and brother in law Brenda and Buck Young, her sons: Brad, Chad (Fran) and Trent, grandchildren: Abigail, Eliza, Sailor, Hayden and Bryce, brother in law and sister in law, Richard and Sandra O’Rear, Nieces and Nephew: Shane, Ritchey, Laurie, Carrie and Erin. A visitation was held on Sunday March 6, 2016 from 2 to 5 P.M. at the home of her son Chad, located at 1020 Chris Ct. Athens, GA 30606.
