A service to celebrate the life of Leo Perry Hinson, 64, was held on Sunday at 5:30 at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Charles Everett officiated. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Glen Hinson, Ricky Caulder, Todd Helms, Ricky Hinson, Timmy Hinson, Tommy Seybold, Dale Poeta and Gary Pullen. The family received friends Sunday 4:00-5:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kentucky Ministries c/o Trinity Baptist Church, 1062 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, S.C. 29078.

Mr. Hinson passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Leo and Bernice Jackson Hinson. He retired from DuPont after 30 years and was currently employed with Invista for the past 10 years. He was an animal lover and raised chickens and award winning Rabbits.

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Barbara Ann Caulder Hinson; sister, Diane Rabon (Lester) of Lugoff; Ricky Hinson and Timmy Hinson of Lugoff; and numerous, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Boycie Hinson.
