Linda H. Price died Monday March 2, 2015. She was born in Hartsville, SC, the daughter of Anna Dell Brown Hendrix and the late James David Hendrix. She was a graduate of Bishopville High School where she was a cheerleader and received the senior superlative “most popular.” She worked for DeRoyal Textiles and Camden Military Academy. Mrs. Price is the epitome of a selfless mother and worked hard for her family. Everyone was welcome in her home and she always assured anyone to enjoy her delicious country cooking, which you could never just have one plate of no matter how full you were.  Even though she did not drink sweet tea, she made the best you have ever had and always had it on hand. If you wanted her delicious dressing you could always choose between with onions, or without. She made many of her meals and sweets twice over to accommodate picky eaters. She was a truly loving woman who was truly loved. She always supported her children and grandchildren in everything they did and did whatever it took to ensure their success and safety. She enjoyed 60’s music, especially Elvis and Country music, especially Conway Twitty. She had a smile which could brighten the dullest of rooms and a sass which could not be matched. She was a strong, loving, generous, faithful, and amazing Christian woman and her strong devotion will live on forever. Our Mother was an angel on earth and now she will watch over her loved ones as an angel in heaven.

Surviving are her children, Donna Price Ives of Murrells Inlet, SC and Crystal Price Benton “Christy” (Gerald Raymond I “Jerry”) of Camden, SC; grandchildren Brett Tate Ives, Gage Matthew Berkowitz, Maya Belle Berkowitz, Jena Michelle Berkowitz, Ainsley Marie Benton, Gerald Raymond Benton II “Jerry,” and London Angelique Jiminez; sisters Marie Stokes, Martha Ann Duncan (Tyler); brother Buddy Hendrix (Rae), and her mother Anna Dell Hendrix.

Mrs. Price was predeceased by her father, James Hendrix; her sister Ina Belle Amerson, and her husband, Don Price.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
