A memorial service to celebrate the life of Lynn Stranahan Butler, 70, of Camden was held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Bo Dickinson officiated. Memorials may be made in Lynn’s memory to a charity of one’s choice. 

Lynn died at her home, Monday, March 7, 2016. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert Allen Stranahan and Dora “Dody” Richardson Stranahan. She loved horses, animals, friends and family. Lynn devoted her life to the Lord and served him graciously with purpose, devotion and commitment to charity and mission work throughout the community, state and world.

Surviving are her son, Rob Butler (Elizabeth) of Camden, daughters, Sonya Butler of Camden, Carolyn Bixhorn of CA., Sveta Butler of Columbia; grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher and Bethany Butler; a sister, Trudy Stranahan of Toledo, OH.

Lynn was predeceased by a son, Nicholas “Nicky” Joseph Butler, Jr. and a brother, Robert Stranahan, III.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
