Margaret died Sunday, December 9, 2018. She was born in Bishopville, SC, the daughter of the late Jesse Wingate and Minnie Brown Wingate. Margaret was the 1940 Valedictorian at Hillcrest High School, and a member of First Baptist Church. Mother’s love for her friend and Heavenly Father was shown by the care and joy she found in her family and home. Her ministry was to bring a smile to friends by the giving of her roses, pecan pies and self.

She was known as “Shug” to her caregivers at NHC because they were all “Shug” to her. The family would like to thank NHC and Caris Hospice for the care they provided.
