A funeral service to honor thA memorial service to celebrate the life of Mary Boykin “Bebe” DuVal Myers. 79, of Camden, SC, will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Bethesda Presbyterian Church in Camden, SC. Rev. John Hallman will officiate. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends after the service at her home. 

Bebe, widow of Usher Newton Myers, Jr., died on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. She was born in Charleston, the daughter of Mary Boykin Mustard DuVal and Moylan Lansdale DuVal of Boykin, and later of Camden. Bebe attended Camden High School and Bard-Avon Business College, Baltimore, MD. She was employed by the Kershaw County School District, where she was the assistant to the librarian at Camden Middle School for over 20 years and loved every minute of it. Bebe was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church and was active in the civic and cultural activities in Camden and Kershaw County.

Bebe, who dearly loved her family and friends, is survived by four daughters, Mary Boykin “Molly” Haile Myers Bridges (Steve Mackie), Kathryn Nettles Myers Caulder (David), Caroline DuVal Myers Connare (Burns Walker), Sarah Usher Myers Daniels (Greg); three grandchildren, Robert Myers Bridges (Hollis), Mary Boykin Bridges Taylor (Blake) John Arthur Connare, IV and several step-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Katharine Lansdale DuVal Beard (Henry E. III), Moylan Lansdale DuVal Nettles (William F., III) and brother-in-law, Jay D. Campbell. 

Bebe was predeceased by her parents and her youngest sister, whom she adored, Sarah Mustard DuVal Campbell. She often said she had been blessed with a loving family and wonderful friends.
