A funeral service to honor the life of Mary Genuia Wingate Elliott, 90, of Camden, SC, will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Rev. Pat Amick and Rev. Greg Sweet will officiate. Burial will follow in Quaker Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel.

Mary Genuia Wingate Elliott, widow of Ralph Elliott, died Saturday, September 27, 2014. She was born in Sumter, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Thomas Fletcher and Isabelle Mathis Wingate. Mary was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church in Camden.

Mary is survived by her children, Rosa Ives Serralta, Sidney David Ives, Jr. (Julie) and Charles A. Ives (Linda) all of Camden; grandchildren, Joey Serralta, Lee Serralta McElveen, Grant Ives, Brett Ives, Heather Ives Dykes and Robert Marion "Skeet" Sowell; great-grandchildren, Joseph McElveen, Christopher McElveen, Tate Ives, Lander and Hannah Dykes, Nickolas, Joseph and Vivienne Serralta; and her sister, Dora Wilder of Page, AZ.

Besides her husband and parents, Mary was predeceased by her first husband, Sidney David Ives and her sisters, Ruth Wingate, Juanita Goodenough and Ruby Bradham; and her brother, Thomas Fletcher Wingate. Her family is forever grateful for her constant love for each of us. Our precious mother, grandmother, and great grandmother is now in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
