Mary Floyd Hudson, 72, of Camden, SC, passed away on November 22, 2017. She was born on December 20, 1944 to the late McKinnon and Katherine Floyd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Osborn Hudson and brother-in-law, Grady Bennett. Mary is survived by her sisters, Esther Floyd Bennett and Sarah Floyd Elliott; nephew, Kinn Elliott (Lauren), and niece, Kelly Elliott Delk (Gene). Also surviving are great nieces, Elliott, Katherine and Sarah Parker Delk, Caroline and Reid Elliott, great nephew McKinnon Elliott, and a special caregiver, David Knight.

Mary was a graduate of Columbia College and retired from the teaching profession. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and a former member of Alpha Delta Kappa Teacher’s Sorority, Habitat for Humanity Board, Friends of the Kershaw County Library and Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce. 

Funeral services wereheld Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Grace Episcopal Church in Camden, SC. The Reverend Pickett Wall officiated. Interment was at Quaker Cemetery. Visitation followed at Richardson Hall, Grace Episcopal Church. Memorials may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 1315 Lyttleton Street, Camden, SC 29020.
